Reviews
Had an awesome time at this restaurant! Super chill vibes, friendly staff, and the sushi? Oh, it was on point! Definitely coming back for more! You've got to try the Oak Bluffs Roll, you wont be disappointed.
1. Fried rice tasteless , they were out of chicken for choice of protein.
2. Atlantic cod fish and chips are not worth the price
3. clam chowder was runny
Overall, it is not a good experience with the taste of the food. Service and Atmosphere were good.
4. Ohh Iam pretty sure I joined your location. Don't think your customers are incompetent, talk to your servers and review your camera.
My family and I reserve a table for dinner. We ordered four appetizers and all four were cold and then when ordered our main course’s which was the general Taos chicken and the noodles and shrimp with chicken both main course’s where mildly hot and the noodles with chicken and shrimp were bland. Absolutely no taste, then we took or order home when we got home I had a better look at the main course and seen blond hair on My general Taos chicken very bad experience wouldn’t recommend this restaurant to anyone!
Food was what I would describe as vaguely reminiscent of Chinese food. Not well seasoned, sometimes strange choice of vegetables to go on a dish. Water chestnuts on everything. Thai tea seemed to be some kind of syrup, no tea involved.
Two plusses: The front of house service was excellent, my water was never empty. The portion sizes were also gigantic; you could eat for days on one entrée order here.
We've eaten here before and thoroughly enjoyed our means and visits. This experience had a couple of issues but nothing substantial enough to keep us from coming back again.
Given that it's winter/off-season and we're still dealing with Covid, the restaurant was empty other than the staff. It's unfortunate as they have the most beautiful and comfortable dining spaces. We've eaten in the restaurant before and had great service; I doubt much has changed with that. For this mean, however, we opted for take-out.
I like to try to order over the phone as I understand 3rd party online systems charge restaurants per order - depending on their contract. With that, I called to place my order without issue.
My dinner companion ordered the boneless spare ribs and I had pork fried dumplings and chicken Wok Fired Lo Mein.
The boneless spare ribs had good flavor but, as boneless ribs, had more fat/gristle when compared to other restaurants' ribs. Other than that, they were good.
The pork dumplings seem to be the standard dumpling product so nothing special there.
The lo mein was good but a bit lacking in flavor. Adding soy sauce helped but it could use more garlic, ginger, fish sauce...something add a bit more flavor to the dish.
Again, small issues and not enough to keep us from going back.
EXTRA KUDOS to a restaurant that reads their reviews and considers feedback!!! We'll support you even more going forward!!! And we'll be sure to use your online ordering ;)
UPDATE: Mar '22. We ordered fried wontons, sushi, and chicken curry. The curry was just ok but we loved the sushi and wontons. Keep up the great work there 'cause we're going to keep coming back for more!
Food was horrible. Not sure how you mess up ramen soup. Tasted like cardboard. Fried Rice was overly sweet. Like they put too much hoisin sauce or something in it.
We visited here on our 1st dinner date. I must say the ambiance really set the mood. The moment we entered the restaurant, we were greeted by the professionalism of the host and wait staff, which was impeccable. The food was fresh and tasty, and they were not shy on their portions as well.
Exceptional food. We were treated with great service from the sushi chef at the sushi bar, but our waitress was rude, non-existent, snappy and disrespectful to not only to us , but to the sushi chef, whom gave us great service. Therefore, …
